Unfortunately moved into a Taylor Wimpey house in Dec 12 and still have 120 snagging issues.After months of things being addressed in dribs and drabs I escalated these issues and have now given TW a free rein of my house for all of this week.Husband has taken a week off work, dog in kennels and the house is practically unliveable.This is my 4th new build so I expect some snagging but this is appauling.I have 2 things I want to understand. What can/will TW do to compensate us for the stress/husbands annual leave being used up etc?) Has anyone ever got compensation from them? They tell us they don't pay compensation. The other disturbing factor is that we can hear everything through our ajoining wall with our neighbours house. I hear muffled converstations, toilet flushing etc. I whisper all the time. I have lived in numerous semi's in the past and never experienced anything like it.What we can do now?It is unbearable and I regret ever purchasing with TW!
