I know somebody who bought a new property from this builder-worst cowboy builder imaginable! Called Dominic Barnes of Sandiford Lodge,Tarporley. Many H & S infringements and building regs problems.
Rocketfine now in liquidation but watch out for the man and do not buy.
If you do 'fall in love' with one of his properties ensure you have a full structural survery and detailed snagging done before you part with any cash.

If you are buying from a liquidated company it should sound warning bells anyway.
