Pellet Prices What’s Everyone Paying?

Hello everyone.

I’m curious what everyone is paying for pellets lately. Prices seem to vary quite a bit depending on the brand, type, and where you buy them. What are you currently paying per bag or per ton, and what brand are you using?

Are you buying hardwood, softwood, or a blend? I’m also wondering if anyone has noticed prices going up or down compared with last year. Do you usually buy by the pallet to save money, or just pick up bags as needed?

If you have a good local supplier or retailer with reasonable prices, I’d appreciate hearing about them.

Prices seem to be pretty reasonable around here compared with last year. I usually buy by the pallet when I find a good deal, since it saves some money and saves me from making multiple trips. A1 pelet price seems to be fairly competitive in my area as well. I’ve had good luck with hardwood pellets, especially brands that produce less ash and burn consistently.
