Insulation

Hi I was wondering if anyone could help regarding the insulation regs in internal walls and also for the external walls , mine have just been dot and dabbed onto the blocks I'm not sure if this is correct or not just doesn't seem very professional, I brought the house from Avant homes in 2020 and have had nothing but issues so I'm just trying to build a case against them

there are many differing types of insulation that have been and new ones / types and methods being dreamed up all the time

all offering different benefit

all however have to meet the minimum standards set out by the building regs

are you finding rooms or a room particularly cold ?

Hi thanks for your reply ,yes some rooms are cold , but I've noticed that avant have just dot and dabbed plasterboard onto the block work , there is no insulation between the block and the plasterboard, I was expecting to see stud work with insulation in-between the block and plasterboard, this is an internal wall

insulation is not mandatory on internal walls except bathrooms , and thats for sound transmission purposes
