I need a bit of a help and advice.
I need help and advice from those who already escalate matter further via the code for home builders dispute resolution scheme.
As soon as I moved in I have instructed snagging instructed to run a report for me. He has identified 324 defects and the report was handed to the builder. Since November various people has been visiting my property in attempt to rectify defects with no joy. By repairing one another caused and so on. Or the quality of work despite a numerous repair has not improved.
The builder does everything possible not to fully redecorate my house. But as per various contractors to rectify defect proper, neat and in workmanlike manner they need fully redecorate whole house.
For repairs different construction materials has been used and the colors and finishes do not match. The matte window sill painted gloss and with tiny bubbles and dust stuck in it. The magnolia paint on the walls does not match with original magnolia and everywhere where builders touched patches prominent. Today when I requested manager to come down as I do have some concerns regarding finishing touches, workmen told me of
f and stated they are not going to be told how to do their job and left my house in despair. Customer care manager is not interested and claims that the decorative finish is acceptable and he wants me to complaint to NHBC. My house at present looks like trash. I have reviewed builders complaint procedure and it become evident that I must first to complain to regional manager which am done.
HELP what evidence do I need to gather. The builder stated am a problem customer and they knew they will have problems with me.
They builder already attempted 3 times to rectify defects with no joy.
At some point builder said I am not cooperating. Despite I am open to conversation, I am reporting in writing all my concerns. I am not rude to workers, always provide access etc.
I do have a feeling that complaint to regional manager will take me no where.
