Does anyone know who is trustworthy at this company? Are there any honest folk? Stories keep changing so fast it's hard to keep up.
2 days ago I was told that they couldn't touch up the exterior paint on my house because the weather was damp, although it wasn't actually raining that day.
Today it IS raining and they ARE painting the house across the street, which I believe is being 'released' tomorrow.
Money talks until you've handed it over.
Any hints welcome!
Nearly 2 months later, and I can answer my own question. There isn't anyone to be trusted in Stewart Milne Homes, they will either say anything in the hope that you will believe it, or make offers to do things that they have no intention of doing.
A new Site Manager at Linburn Grange has had no effect on snagging problems, although the pressure washing he arranged on the exterior of the house does seem to have succesfully avoided every area I had mentioned in my snagging lists.
The Customer Services Manager achieved none of the goals he set 4 weeks ago.
Perhaps no-one speaks my language (truth) in this company.
Now yet another site manager, and the line of mistrust stretches even further up the ladder within Stewart Milne Homes. They tell you something isn't going to happen, and then it does!
Nothing to do with fixing my problems, which I've been told so many times were going to be done, instructed to be done, etc.
Whether it's going to happen or not, don't believe what you are told.
Get everything in writing, believe no-one. You have been warned again!
