UPVC Doors

Just wondering if anyone else living in a SM luxury home has noticed any discolouration to their external white UPVC doors. My side door is extremely yellow in colour and compared to the framework it has changed considerably. My front door is the same although not as bad.

Needless to say when we queried it after waiting months i received a letter from SM stating they had received notification from Sidey(the window and door suppliers who took over from Dallas Watson who went into liquidation), who advised that the colour test had returned informing that the colour of the doors are within tolerance. Surprise surprise they will not be taking the matter further.

I don't know when Sidey carried out the alleged colour test and having looked at other residents front doors they all appear to have discoloured apart from four or five that have kept their white appearance.

If i had purchased a double glazed white PVC door i would have had a guarantee allowing me to have the door replaced due to discolouration or bubbling. This "pinking" effect is apparently due to a rogue batch of UPVC, just wondering if anyone else had similar issues?

No doubt it will be the usual squabble to get this rectified.
