 |  Ive been robbed due to NO LOCK!!!
i need some help, we have been robbed and they stole £7K wortgh of stuff - gutted and 6 months pregnat so really frightning. They broke into teh garage and walked through the internal door to the house - we have since discovered that there shoudl have been a lock on thw internal garage door ( we just assumed as it was a fire door there wasnt one) until all my neghbours said they had them! After calling the builder, they say its on the handover that we have the keys given for it! LIES im not sure how far to take this - im furious as they are so quick to quote me guidlines when it comes to fixing snagging. Do i have a legal case here?? Thanks L |

I would think you have a case - talk to NHBC - although they have a only a few powers - put in a claim to them - or get your house insurance to claim against them -

You can get help with a small claim from Trading Standards or Community Legal Advice - Community Legal Advice - free legal advice for residents of England and Wales, paid for by legal aid

you must have a case,,, you might have the keys but no lock to put them in....

TAYLOR WIMPEY???????? NO WAY. Take these cowboys, pretend house builders to court. There is no excuse for what they have done. |
