Default Block and beam problem (flanking)

I have a semi detached house and my neighbour and I share the same block and beam flooring. I have had a structaul engineer confirm this and it has caused untold noise problems.

Does anyone know the block and beam regulations, the house walls have
13mm plaster with aggregate medium blocks and a 75mm air gap between the houses. The air gap varies from 75mm to 73mm along the length to the top of the house.

The block and beam flooring is standard made by atlas and runs through the part wall and into the adjoining house any help please and what I can do to rectify the situation. The house has 10 years NHBC but what good that is well we all know the answer tot hat question.

All help much appreciated.
