    Default gradients

in process of buying new house. builder showed me a drawing of the garden when i signed up and this showed a flat garden i.e. no gradients shown. the house is now finished and the garden turfed. the garden however is not level and has quite a slope towards the house. the builder says it is an acceptable gradient. i meet him on friday to discuss it and would like any info on what an acceptable gradient is? considering his drawing shows it dead level. is there any rule/standard/laws covering this matter.where do i stand?

I guess it is not as bad as this Bellway Home, but it is still worth checking with your solicitor.
