Not sure if this is the right place for this just need a bit of advice!
Me and my partner are in the process of buying a new build and there has been an issue with the main entrance!
Instead of the door opening inwards (industry standard!) because there is a slight slope in the ceiling the door is now having to open outwards!

This is a clear stuff up on the plans and we have asked the developer for some sort of compensation because of the error. How much do you think we should be asking for or what items should we get for free in the property!?!![]()
It is odd and may affect saleability in the future. You should at least ensure that the hinges are not exposed as this will represent a security risk.
