Hello,
We bought our house From Bellways, and moved in at the end of July. Lots of snags, most sorted out. However, we have a family room on the back of the house with its own roof that is leaking (not badly). The day before we moved in, they said it had leaked and they had fixed it. A couple of months ago we had a lot of rain, it leaked again, they send someone round who fixed it. It leaked again, they set up some scaffolding, and told us it was fixed again. It leaked again 2 weeks ago.
They are currently here putting extra cement around the ridge tiles (not removing the old stuff, just adding it). I was told they were going to remove the tiles and see what was wrong.
They waited until my partner left with out kids for the day before starting, not realising I was in today.
What can I do to get this fixed properly.
Thanks
Jon
It sounds like Bellway have been unable to diagnose the problem or felt it was too expensive to rectify correctly. If I were you I would get a local building surveyor to have a look at this for you or try to get the NHBC out.
Let us know how you get on
Tony
