Plans Just curious, but is a purchaser of a new house entitled to a copy of the plans? Appreciate there may be issues of copyright etc from the Architect, but it would be very nice to have a copy. Although I suppose that is a bit like the developer/builder giving me a list of things they forgot to do!
Any views?
Plans Generally they are not handed over, but there is no harm in asking for a copy especially as you will be asked to sign them. I would recommend asking the Sales staff before you move in, when they are behaving like your 'best friend'. They may not have facilites to make a copy for you though, so it might be worth bringing a digital camera to take a snap. You could always do this on the sly.
