Portergate Residential Developments Does anyone know whether Portergate residential developments of Knutsford Cheshire has any other sites apart from the Chruch Mews Development in Rock Ferry Wirral.
If so, how are they with after Sales service and Snagging ?
We have had nothing but problems with them. Lack of communication in particular. We had some major problems, including a leaking bathtub which was due to it being faulty, and fitted wrong. It has so far taken a year, and we have had to constantly chase all the individual parties ourselves

Portergate Residential Developments This is exactly the problem: Portergate are simply the developer, they contracted almost everything out. The builders used for the development are Alfred McAlpine Special Projects. McAlpine do hold an NHBC certificate. They have been slightly more helpful, but of course are not responsible for co-ordinating the snagging work.
