failed sewer drain

I have a a 2 year old house built by Kier, the sewer under the house has failed, it has dipped the full leanth of the house. They propose to make this drain obsolete and redirect the sewers around the house instead. We have a really bad smell in the utility room whare one of the disconected drains has been. To do this they need to take up a concrete reinforced floor in the integral garage. We have also had 2 drains at the house disconected as a result of this. We are being decanted from the house to allow them to do the work. We are not having any imput as to how the work will be done, all they will agree to pay for is the rental of the alternative property plus additional travelling costs. We feel that we have been living with this for all the time we have been at the new house and its been a nightmare experience, they have offered no goodwill, have'nt even offered to redecorate for our inconvienience. What can we do? Has anyone had a situation like this?
