Hi,
I've just bought, and about to move into a new Persimmon Home in Portishead near Bristol.
It was 90% complete, so we chose flooring and carpet, and the value for size of house and garden is very good for the area (otherwise I wouldn't have had it). There was a deal to be had as it should have already exchanged until someone pulled out.
Our completion date is 28th August, but today I've noticed a vertical crack in the rendering under the roof of the top floor, and various little jobs with paint / tile and finishing to pipes under sinks. We have a snag list with the site manager, and I verbally told him I would not complete on a house with cracked render.
They had better complete the re-rendering or I fear a complicated future as we have given notice on our rented flat!
I'll keep you posted.... 9 days for a little wall shouldn't be too hard?!
Andy

What's the progress with this Andy-ski?

I've decided to go ahead, and the shell is nearly complete. All looks good so far!
