hmy: Disgusting!!!

That's not shrinkage it is foundational movement, i am glad we missed out on a persimmion house now, although the house was in a nice spot it was shoddy which i spotted thank god on a basic sales viewing.

Thanks for your commnents.

What i can not understand is why the NHBC after inspecting the home on 3 occasions July 2002, June 2003 and June 2004 have never accepted the nail popping as a defect or even told the builder they should investigate the cause of it. NHBC always takes the word of the builder the homeowner has no chance.

I forgot to mention the site looks great, a lot of hard work there

I have forwarded on to 2 friends who are looking at new builds, it has put them off persimmon homes!!

The thing is we were all in agreement that somtimes things do go wrong, but for the best part it is how quickly and how fairly you are treated after they have taken your money that shows basic customer service and on your case empathy due to the catologue of errors, it seems to me it was rushed and the site manager never did his job allowing the herds of contactors to cut corners and build shoddy homes.

Are there many more on your development that suffered or was it a one of Christmas house?
