negotiating a snagging inspection with Persimmon
Hi,
I am due to complete on a purchase of a new build Persimmon home at the end of August. Throughout the buying process I have indicated to the sales team on the development that I wish to snag the house prior to completion using a professional snagging company. To date, the onsite sales staff have indicated that this isn't company policy and that snagging can't generally hold up completion.
Has anyone else managed to get Persimmon to agree to a full snagging inspection prior to completion? To be fair to them, I have bee able to view the house at least once a week over the last few weeks of the build and I haven't noticed any significant problems. However, should I now bypass the sales team and contact the Construction Director at the regional office direct? My development is being build by Persimmon North Midlands.
