Maxwell Gait- Glasgow

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the Charles Church (Permission) homes in Maxwell Gait, Newton Mearns, Glasgow. I ask because my wife and I viewed a house there recently and are thinking of buying. My concerns are that the house is not yet completed and neither is the development. In this recession I wonder if everything will go ahead has planned. Has anyone been out to this site? Or has anyone got any advice about dealing with Charles Church?

Hi there Mark, I would really consider very carefully before buying from them, they always promise everything however they dont always deliver, I hope you make the right decision as this is the biggest thing you will probably buy in your life.

Thanks Alan, I know it is a massive decision. We spoke to someone who lives there already and is really happy with there customer service and response to snagging issues etc. However, I know this is just one persons experience and it can vary from home to home and site to site. Was the Hawthors a Permission or Charles Church home? Aside from not buying is there any advice you would give about buying a new home?
