Persimmon built our garage too small

I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced a similar problem?

A neighbour pointed this out to us and now Persimmon have applied for planning permission in retrospect for the garages and the coach house as they are now. The coach house we understand is a whole meter too small and all the garages underneath are too small by a few centimetres making it impossible to park a car in them!

We received a letter from a company called Pegasus which was so full of jargon that it was totally incomprehensible and if our neighbour hadn't chased the council planning department we would have remained in the dark about what was being done.

Has anybody been through what looks like the beginning of a very long journey?
