Persimmon homes ar shites and rogues

Everybody I know who has bought a persimmon home said they will never buy another house off them as long as they live. We have had no end of problems with our house since w moved in 20months ago.

The property was so called green carded when we moved in, we have had 2 pipe leaks, ill fitted doors with gaps under them all 2 WH basins were installed wonky. How can these things be missed before completion. I just show all they care about is getting your money and couldn't bat an eye lid about customer care. Im total with have had over a 100 defects, that's excluding some poor carpentry and paintwork.

I am an Architectural Technician by trade, and I know that under proper construction Contract with Client and Contractor these issues would not occur as the client would be able to fail the property upon Contract completion or at least under the law hold back some retention funds until all defects are rectified.

I will never by a Persimmon home as long as I live and wouldn't wise it on my worst enemy.

The painters were still workin when we moved our furniture in. How can these things be missed before hand over. hi to anybody thinking of buying a persimmon home , its simple DONT BUY. Please go to there other sites have a look and ask people who have bought you will soon find the truth about persimmon homes. the houses are so bad the after sales is so crap , because they have to deal with so many aftersales, most new homeowners want to get rid of there new house . we could be here all day listing the problems with a persimmon home , YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED TAKE NOTE OF OTHER PEOPLES EXPERIENCES WITH PERSIMMON HOMES.
