Default Has anyone got a Persimmon Stisted house???

Just wondering if anyone has a persimmon Stisted design house and how you are finding living with the open plan down stairs and the conservatory end kitchen. It is absolutly freezing in winter down stairs and boiling in the summer. We have had a wall put up to divide the down stairs and it has helped keep the lounge end warmer, but the kitchen is still freezing. A crap design house that is only ok in spring and autumn. Thinking of having the conservatory roof made into a proper one next to stop the heat escape. Having the heating on permantly at 20 so downstairs is an ok temperature is rediculous. Are we the only people with this problem? Did they forget our insulation?!? Be good to here from anybody else with this type of house.

Hello,

Welcome to the forum, it doesn't sound like a very clever design. Everybody knows that conservatories are hot in summer and cold in winter - why would anybody have them as part of an open plan design!!!! What energy rating did the house get?
