Charles Church/Persimmon 'landscaping'
Go to Twitpic.com ref 666l6 to see a pic of our lovely communal 'landscape', which was "graded, covered in quality topsoil and grass-seeded" in late March, then parched by a warm spell, frosted severely in early April and washed away by torrential rain in mid to late April. We all had an unfriendly letter on 2nd April warning us to keep children off the area so that "as the grass comes through it stands a chance of binding together the loose topsoil". The children haven't gone near the area, because there's an open land drain through the middle which is a drowning hazard if ever I saw one for little children. No-one wants to know about our horrible communal space now. Phase 1 of the site has been finished for 6 months and houses occupied for 2 years. Even the endangered bats won't return to their nesting box!
