Question Fence Issue on New Build.

    Hi everyone,

Just a quick question. I've just moved into a new build property built by Taylor Wimpey and as part of the deal the fencing was included in the purchase price. We have had new fencing to both sides of the rear garden but the fencing at the bottom is about 2 years old as it was erected to fence off a parking area for the houses at the back, however, we are responsible for it.The problem is that it's warped in places and is generally not in very good condition. Does anyone know whether we're entitled to having the entire fence relaced or are we expecting too much?
Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Sue.

Ask, put your concerns to the builder, ask why it wasnt replaced and that your concerned that becasue of its age it may be rotten below or not last much longer and that it was your understanding that they would fence the whole garden and not use an old fence. If you dont get any joy with them ask the nhbc to come have a look
