hi, i'm looking to buy a new build property but there are a couple of things i'm unsure of.
the property in question has no NHBC or architects certificate. It has council building regs, certificate, planning permission & a homebuyers survey uncovered no known issues.
the property is on a residential street with a hundred or so other houses. Previously a factory stood on the site & searches reveal it may be an area of contaminated land. the seller is being asked to provide an environmental insurance policy.
i'm unsure of how to proceed so any thought much appreciated.
