Default thinking of buying?need advice?

hi i recently looked at some new properties ,town houses from chelford homes
on the westminster gardens site in bispham, blackpool

at first they seemed too small but the salesman managed to drop from £218.995 to £181.995

and then a 75% ownership where the other 25% is deffered for 10 years no interest

they are leasehold £175 year for 999 years

i have a few questions:

1. when its leasehold do i have the right to build a shed in the backgarden as there is no storage space/no garage

2.im an electrician and was worried with the lack of BT/DATA/TV cableing points and the salesman assured me that i could go in during the building process and add these myself is this true/allowed?

3.And due to the market these days you think i could drop him even more?

4.are chelford homes trustworthy and is the 75% now 25 % thing a good option?

Apologies for the delay:

1. when its leasehold do i have the right to build a shed in the backgarden as there is no storage space/no garage

I don't think this will be a problem

2.im an electrician and was worried with the lack of BT/DATA/TV cableing points and the salesman assured me that i could go in during the building process and add these myself is this true/allowed?

I can't see them allowing this, they just want to close the deal. Get it in writing and in the contract - your solicitor should be able to manage this.

3.And due to the market these days you think i could drop him even more?

Yes, but if you are in it for the long run you should be ok. Compare the house price with comparable houses in the area.

4.are chelford homes trustworthy and is the 75% now 25 % thing a good option?

Can't comment on Chelford homes, but the 75/25 thing is a good idea in my opinion.

Default not the tome to buy

you should be able to make offer, as the markwet is depressed.

insist that your requirements are added to the build spec
