Well,

Took the plunge and bought a lovely new homes off Millerhomes in Ingleby Barwick. It has a a field out the front which I was told by the lovely sales person 'that it had not been decided what was going on there, alhtough it would be landscaped and a little play area would probably go in the middle'. That was in Feb 2007

Imagine to my sheer delight that once I moved in I found out that three large play areas are to be built directly in front of my house and that Millerhomes knew about this in June 2006.

They also managed to recommend a conveyancing solicitor to me who also managed to hide the truth from me.

I am now informed that once the three large play areas are built, it will knock 15% off the value of mine and my neighbours properties. (approx £40 000).

Now, over 6 months on, they still have not got the details available in the sales office and even have the audacity to tell potential customers to speak to me if they want further details regarding the play areas. :-(
