50 years and still going strong

We live in a small Close at Weeping Cross, Stafford.
Our Wimpy houses were built in 1959. To celebrate this we are holding a street party on the 14th of June this year. A cake will be cut by those people who have been here since they were new and they will be joined by residents past and present, children and grandchildren even. We love our houses which have stood the test of time and we love our Close and the happy and caring little community that has grown over the years.

P.S. If there still is a Mr or Ms Wimpy who was around when they were built in 1959 please come along.
However if you would like us to take your photo and hang it on our walls please bring a very high power drill because the bricks you used will break any ordinary drill bit!
