I bought a David Wilson new build 5 years ago and have encountered nothing but problems based on the design of the estate. We live in a cul-de-sac section on the estate and have block paved areas that are designed according to the site plans/deeds to be for 'access only'. We have residents using the access areas as parking spots and this is causing a huge obstruction for vehicles getting in/out of the cul-de-sac.
We have discussed this with DWH since day one and they claim that this is a neighbourly dispute when clearly it is breach against the covenents on the site by residents that park illegally.
Has anybody else encountered similar problems with parking or access-only areas and any advice on resolving it through formal channels would be appreciated.
It seems that the only thing that matters to DWH is sustaining a good score on the customer service charter which is entirely false when I relate it to my experiences since buying off them. When we threaten to submit a complaint based on service, they pretend to respond in an appropriate manner without resolution.
