Window frame fixings...

The windows in the picture were rock solid - no chance of them falling out.

I've looked through pics of our build, brick building with wooden frames, has the exact same method.

Adults may not put their full weight against the window but children do!

As before, my concerns are not the fixing of the straps to the wall, but the fixing of the other end to the relatively thin wall section of the UPVC frame...

I have spent 18 years servicing the building defects insurance business in technical risk management and claims investigation. In that time, as far as I'm aware, we have never had a claim in this respect. I think the glass would break before the frame falls out, always assuming it's fixed properly in the first instance. Upvc is surprisingly tough.
