Exclamation Bryant standard plumbing

The link to a photot on Flickr shows the plumbing underneath the hot water cylinder. This is a pressurised system. Only identified problem after small leak through to livingroom. Our poor neighbour had the same lovely plumbing but unfortunately the whole thing blew when they were out and dumped the contents of the tank into their livingroom. The house was just over two years old so phoned emergency assist through insurance. The plumber were able to stem the flow but refused to do anymore because the plumbing was so bad. Put pressure in Bryant who reluctantly sent the details to their plumbers who had to refit all the plumbing underneath.

I suggest if you have a Bryant home in Scotland built in the past three years you pop the cover off the plinth underneath your hot water tank (iff applicable) and check it.
