I believe he got fed up with the stress caused by the constant hassle from Bovis Homes. Creating campaign sites will get your problems dealt with sooner and will help with your settlement, but there is a price to pay.

You are correct the content seems to have been removed from the Web archive - must have cost a few quid and makes you wonder how distorted it is.

I had the worst 1st home experience with a Bovis home. My master bathroom shower leaks and it was found well before the warranty was up. Bovis refused to correct the problem. Then because you sign your rights away at closing I was forced to go through arbitration. Of course I lost because I don't build homes I was just trying to own one! All and all I am selling my crappy Bovis home as is to dump it.

PS 4 yrs later, my shower still leaks and would cost 4,000 to fix!

Default Re:Bovishomesexposed URL

I recently bought a former show home. Be careful: the (Site Sales) staff will promise you the 'moon and stars' and will agree to anything. However once Bovis have your money it is difficult to get their Customer Services people to do anything to sort out the 'snags'noted. I am still ringing them several months later. Also I have noticed that there seems to be quite a bit of scaffolding going up around several houses and are shrouded so you can't see what the problems are. I am told that the bricks used are of poor quality and are chipped. Also on the day of signing for your house make sure that the Sales staff don't try to get you to agree to unfair contract terms like house is 'sold as seen'. Such terms are not part of the contract and are ultra viries.

Good luck!!
