Manor Kingdom's prestigeous development suffers a collapse on one of its four-storey block of flats.

By the way Manor Kingdom is the sister company of Bett Homes.

If the link doesn't work, the picture shows a gable wall missing from the top of the fourth storey to the apex of the roof.

Manor Kingdoms site at Kip Marina has also had further gable end collapses in January 2008 again missing ties are apparently to blame. As in the collapse of the gable end in January 2007.
Manor Kingdom is part of the Gladedale Scottish empire. We understand from the manor Kingdom publiity that Nanor Kingdom are now expnding into South England as a prsetigeous Scottish builder.hmy:

Further collapses due to insufficient ties come as no surprise. Of all the Manor Kingdom / Bett Homes / Gladedale properties that I have looked at if a defect is found in one property there is a 95% chance that the same defect will be found in all properties in that particular estate. At least they are consistent - consistently sub-standard :lol:

It is interesting that Manor Kingdom are expanding into the south of England. I have been told that the Kip Marina development was designed for the south of England climate and not the west of Scotland where it is situated. This is why Inverclyde Council ordered Manor Kingdom to take down and rebuild significant parts of the development using the correct design standards. Must have been strange for a Gladedale company having to comply with specific standards or building regulations :woohoo: :woohoo: :evil: :evil: Could have been worse, they could of punctured a reservoir lining and endangered a SSSI (Special Site of Scientific Interest) - OOOOOOPPPPS I heard they did that as well just up the road at Kilmacolm :whistle:

The link to Inverclyde Now's website in the first post has not been working for some time now.

I contacted Inverclyde Now and asked when the story would be reposted - they said that it would be reposted as soon as they had solved their server problems. Following an number of months I contacted them again - no response. I also asked if Manor Kingdom / Gladedale had influenced the lack of reinstatement - again no response.

As the Americans say - You do the Math!!!!!

There rest of their site seems to be working fine.
