Morning guys.
I took a call from a reporter at the FT yesterday evening. They are looking to do a piece for this weekend on buy-to-let and miss-selling
They are keen to speak to people who:
1) completed their purchase but are unhappy with the product delivered, i.e. different to expectations, changes to views, light, social housing... etc
2) were told certain things at point of sale which were subsequently untrue, i.e. you're 10% will be the max loss, mortages will be available...etc
The Berkeley Homes Collective's story is one of homebuyers, although there are clear similarities, particulalry with point 2, but if you are a buy-to-let purchaser and would be happy to use this opportunity to raise the profile of the issues faced please email me (
stevenjdowd@hotmail.com) and I'll put you in touch with the FT reporter today. Rgs SD
