Mark Group Mark Insulations

My girlfriends not happy with Mark Group, also known as Mark Insulations Ltd. When she looked up in the loft, there were large areas of loft insulation missing. The builder said they were contacting Mark Group - Mark Insulations Ltd to get it sorted as they had failed to fully insulate the loft space. That was months ago and she's still waiting

Would the builder be liable for extra cost of my girlfriends heating bill? or should she claim it from Mark Group - Mark Insulations Ltd?

Has anyone else had a problem with the insulation in their home - or lack of it?

And who are Mark Group, Mark Insulations Ltd? Are they any good?

we had them cavity fill our house, could not fault them really...

Speaking from within the trade, they are one of the big installer groups. They usually have a pretty decent reputation, although they are a national company so obviously a lot depends on individual branches and installers.

With regards to them being liable for heating bills I would honestly doubt it, at best I would think you would either be able to get them to finish the job, or possibly reclaim the costs of either doing the work yourself (if you do decide to do this wear a mask and be sure that you cover as much skin as possible without leaving gaps in your clothing) or having someone else complete the work.
